WELCOME TO THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH!!!!!!
Dear Parents,
So exciting!!!!!!! We are going to delve into this fantastic integrated unit of study! It connects multiple disciplines, with a focus on science and social studies, while experiences will be across various disciplines. The will understand conceptual relationships and act upon their ability to see and understand problem solving. The processes of critical thinking, problem finding, problem solving and evaluating act as an overlay for all the various content areas of this unit. Students will generate observations, inquiries, investigations and postulations, paralleling how these processes are performed by specialist in the field. The inclusion of creative activities into this integrated-thematic unit will give the students opportunities to critically examine creative products and to be actively involved in the creative process themselves.
In our circus finale students will be required to learn a ‘circus skill’ and will perform in our CIRCUS! (more info to follow at a later date)
